9 months old!

Gavin is 9 months old...I can barely believe it!

(will he really be turning ONE in only three months?! Holy cow!!!)

Stats:

Height: 27"

Weight: 13lbs 10oz

Head: 43.5cm

Eating Habits:

Gavin's appetite has gone down a little bit in the last month, and he is on fluid restriction because of his Ascites. But he is eating a lot more baby food and table food to compensate! :) His new love are the little sweet potatoe puffs (Kroger brand, not the name brand! We are careful to not make that mistake again!)

Sleeping Habits:

Gavin is sleeping a lot better now that is on TPN at night! Sometimes he sleeps ALL night!!!!! :D It is awesome!!! And he is getting so good at taking his naps. Sometimes all I have to do is lay him down and he falls right to sleep all by himself!

Playing Habits:

Gavin has a new game that he likes to play....Daddy stands him up in the palm of his hand, and "balances" him until he falls over onto the bed! He is also starting to like being tossed up into the air. He likes it when his big brother and sister play "peek-a-boo" with him, too! When is free to crawl on the floor, he likes crawling round and round the piano legs, or back and forth along the couch...to one side, then stand up! Then back to the other side, and stand up! :P He also likes going on walks...he is happiest when he is moving!!!

Any firsts this month?

A lot!!! Gavin got his FIRST TOOTH! It is one of his bottom middle teeth. And that one was quickly followed by two more up on top, that are just about to come through. They are not his front teeth though...its his canines on either side! He is going to look like a little vampire when they are done coming through! And it is Mommy's strongest wish that they STAY that way until after Halloween, cause he's going to be the cutest little vampire EVER! :D

Also, another weird first is that Gavin has started using a PACIFIER!!! It was the strangest thing...we have tried and tried to get him to take one, but he would only chew on it ir just plain spit it out. But when he was in the hospital, one morning he popped it in and hasn't looked back since! His Daddy thinks its the cutest thing ever! :)

It was also Gavin's first time to the BEACH! He looked so cute trying to walk in the sand! I can't wait to see him chasing the waves with his big brother soon! :)

And finally, it was Gavin's first 4th of July!!! He didn't really "get it" this year, but I think having to see them through a window kinda confused him. Next year I'm sure he'll love it!
