UPDATE: the Gift For Gavin Charity Golf Tournament has been pushed back to SATURDAY, AUGUST 16TH!!!! Update your calender and spread the word to all your golfing friends! We think this date will be a lot better, since so many of our friends and family were on vacation during the month of July. We've already had a lot more people sign up since the date switch! YAY! :)
The NEW register-by date is: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6th!!! Players MUST pre-register and payment is due at time of registration! (we have to report our total number & pay the fee to the golf course in advance) The cost is $75 a player, which includes lunch and two free raffle tickets! Payment options include cash, check, or online through paypal (please see the "PAY NOW" button in the upper right-hand corner of this page!).
Please contact Kim to register! Call #480.277.6348 -OR- e-mail at dkb04@msn.com. She needs to know your first & last name, the names of all other players in your group (if signing up as a group), contact information (phone number or e-mail) and how you would like to pay!
The rest of the details are still the same. It will be held at Superstition Springs Golf Club in Mesa, AZ. Players must sign-in on Saturday morning between 6:00AM-6:45AM. Shot-gun start will be at 7:00AM. Golf dress attire required (collared shirt, no jeans!).
Lunch will be served inside around noon. (menu is still the same...Western BBQ, cornbread, cole slaw, fruit cobbler, etc...YUM!). Non-players can come just for lunch, price is $20 a person. (please e-mail Kim in advance if you plan to do that! Thank you!)
There will be a silent auction, raffle, contests, and prizes all throughout the day! Its going to be FUN!!!! We've already got a lot of really cool items for the auction (my personal favorite so far...a helicopter ride!!!!). I will be posting the specific items available to bid on closer to the event date.
Also, for those who don't play golf, but would still like to help out...we need a few volunteers to help sign-in players, run contests, set up silent auction tables, etc. Your lunch will be provided for! :D Another option would be to sponsor a player (does your brother-in-law like to play? son? neighbor?)
Thanks for your understanding! :)
